Welcome! The main objective of the W.T. Jackson Media Program is to instill a love of reading in each child, teaching information literacy skills which lead to lifelong, independent learning. Students visit our media centers for digital project creation, instructional tech. lab use, literature promotion, read a-louds, library skills instruction, research project support, library book selection, author visits and book fairs. Pre-K, K, and 1st Grade classes are on fixed schedules and visit the media center weekly, while 2nd-5th grade classes are flexibly scheduled. Students are welcome anytime throughout the school day to check out books and work on digital projects.
